The LiDAR Technologies Workshop series in Cairns is emerging as Australia's premier annual LiDAR event, with two previous annual events each drawing in excess of 100 delegates. This is the Surveying and Spatial Science Institute’s first national event focused exclusively on LiDAR. This event was initiated by and is co-hosted by the Far North GIS Users Group (www.fungis.org).

Overview:

The LiDAR Technologies Workshop series in Cairns is emerging as Australia's premier annual LiDAR event, with two previous annual events each drawing in excess of 100 delegates. This is the Surveying and Spatial Science Institute’s first national event focused exclusively on LiDAR. This event was initiated by and is co-hosted by the Far North GIS Users Group (www.fungis.org).

Workshops:

Delegates have the option to attend workshops presented by industry leaders. These are aimed at providing new users, project and asset managers, surveyors and potential purchasers of software and equipment with an understanding of the basic principles and fundamental benefits associated with specific LiDAR technologies.

Workshops are hosted by exhibiting companies and held alongside the LiDAR Technologies Workshop. Delegates that are registered for the conference are able to attend associated workshops free of charge.
