The day was jam packed with presentations covering many GIS applications developed by or being used by our members across the north, Fungis2008 was both informing and entertaining. The final conference presentations are available for download below.
The day concluded with the Fungis Annual General Meetingand Directions Forum followed by an evening of hearty dining and some light entertainment. On other Fungis website pages you can find the draft AGM minutes and a photo gallery of images taken hroughout the day, primarily by Bob Peever and Rod Neilsen - thanks fella's!

Young Spatial Professionals’ Social Event - Atherton, January 2009

Following the success of the last Spatial Sciences Institute Young Professionals’ event in Cairns, the regional representatives have planned another YP event for mid January.
We have planned a social evening with ten-pin bowling and pizzas for Friday 16th January. The event will be held in Atherton from 6:30pm.
It’s open to all young spatial professionals in the far north. You don’t have to be a member of SSI to attend, however there is a discount for those who are members.
SSI membership forms will be available on the night for those who would like to become SSI members

A social evening for any spatial professional under 36 Pizza and soft drinks provided - BYO alcohol

Join the FNQ GIS User Group on Friday 15 August for our Annual Fungis Conference and AGM. This year we are celebrating 20 years of Fungis. Jam packed with presentations covering many GIS applications developed by or being used by our members across the north, Fungis2008 will be both informing and entertaining. The final Conference Program is now available.
The day will conclude with the Fungis Annual General Meetingand Directions Forum followed by an evening of hearty dining and some light entertainment. Reflect, catch up and share ideas in the company of fellow spatial innovators from our great part of the country.
Online registration is now available. Registration price is all inclusive. Fungis (and SSI) members and full time students $125. Non members $160. To make renewing Fungis membership easier, you can now renew online. By logging in to the Fungis website with your username and password, you can access a menu item called 'Pay Membership'.
