Fungis members have one last opportunity to meet with each other, learn something new and marinade in each others knowledge, whilst celebrating GIS Day, prior to christmas and the new year washing over us!

A variety of activities are on offer during this event, culminating in a Keynote Address "Why your boss doesn’t always buy into a great business case for new technology. And what you can do about it." kindly presented by David Hine from Red Earth Mapping

In his presentation, David will talk about introducing technology change into new organisations and what critical success factors must be considered to allow funding proposals to be accepted by management within your organisation.

What:

• Working lunch (Fungis Executive Meeting) from 12-1:30pm - ALL WELCOME (attendees to order their own lunch from bar)!
• Publishing stuff on the Fungis website from 1:30-3pm
• Afternoon tea from 3-3:30pm (courtesy of Fungis)

• Networking drinks from 4:30 onward! (No free drinks today).

For those of you that cannot join us on the 25th, Fungis wishes you a safe and happy festive season.

Fungis collaborated with the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute (Qld)  to deliver the Innaugural LiDAR Technologies 2011 on May 30 & 31 in warm and sunny Cairns.

Thanks to Alistair, Bob, Tamsin, Sharlene, Petina (and family) and the team for all of their efforts, and to all of the people who attended. Thanks also to the workshop sponsors and presenters who made attending this workshop a rich and rewarding experience for all (nearly 100) delegates.

This event incorporated networking drinks overlooking Trinity Inlet, sponsored by C.R.Kennedy and a working dinner at Kani's Seafood Restaurant, on Cairns Esplanade.

Following requests from the audience, Fungis and SSSI will publish presentations to this webpage, as permissions are negotiated.

Please complete and return the Fungis membership application form including payment advice. Payment can be made online and other options are included on the membership form.

Membership Renewals

Membership renewals are due annually on 30th April. Please complete and return the Fungis membership renewal form. If paying renewal online, please note it in the ‘payment advice’ section at the bottom of your membership renewal form.
