When: November 18–19, 2021

Location: Double Tree by Hilton - Cairns Esplanade

This year FunGIS turns 30. That's 30 years of active information-sharing, collaboration, and learning by GIS users in the Far North. To celebrate this milestone, we're planning an extra-special annual conference in November 2021! Keep an eye on this space!

Join us in celebrating 30 years of FunGIS

Our theme this year is Seeing is Believing!

Our conferences feature speakers from across the spatial spectrum including government, academic, private and not-for-profit organisations all presenting on a wide-range of geo-related topics.

Visit Cairns during the best time of year! The venue, Double Tree by Hilton Hotel, is right on the glorious Esplanade and has a few rooms available at a special conference rate for delegates. Why not stay and make the most of it? Room and price options appear once you enter the dates via their website.

Network and meet other people in the local far north GIS community, we're a good bunch!
